Will the Quart bottles return??

Many have been asking about the 32oz quart bottles and when they are returning….. Well, Here is the deal. And this all is based on the Defcon #2 product.

Since the onset of the pandemic, everyone has felt the pain and frustration of supply issues. That combined with vendor limitations and restrictions have pretty much put the option for the quart sized bottles out to pasture. I have attempted every concept however because vendors are now requiring larger minimums when purchasing, it has become financially impossible to get them done. My packer has made every effort they could however they have been stonewalled as well. I will continue to try however it’s not looking good right now.

That being said, I wish to put a question out to your customers and followers….. I have the option to pack sauce in 64oz 1/2 gallon plastic jugs (which is the same as 2 quart bottles). The wrinkle here is that the plastic jugs don’t ship very well as a single. As the quart prices would have been about $20 per quart for the Defcon #2, the 1/2 gallon jug would be about $40. Unfortunately because the plastic jugs are not as sturdy as the victory bottles we used, the possibility of failure increases. We have always done our best to pack our orders well to prevent breakage and we have been pretty successful because the glass bottles tend to provide some additional protection. However, when packing a plastic jug, there is the possibility of failure just from the tossing around of the boxes throughout their journey. How can this be fixed you ask????? Well, one option is to sell the 1/2 gallon jugs in pairs (2 jugs). This would be the same as 4 quarts. Would this be something you would be interested in?

Let me know your thoughts on if this could be an option or not an option. Should there be an interest, it could bring back that money saving size to the masses …. just a little bit more than
